Cap d'Antibes is one of the most famous landscapes on the French Riviera, and the best way to understand it is to sail along it. From Port Vauban it is only a few miles away: it is one of the outings we can offer you aboard Sinbad.
A coastline of coves and cliffs
Seen from the water, the cape alternates small coves, rocks and cliffs covered in greenery. You pass small beaches and discreet harbours, such as the Olivette, where the pointus, the colourful traditional fishing boats, are moored. The coastal path, about five kilometres long, runs just above the water and is easy to follow from the boat.
Grand estates and well-known landmarks
The cape is famous for its grand estates, such as Villa Eilenroc and the Château de la Croë. At the tip, the Graillon tower houses the naval and Napoleonic museum, and the Garoupe lighthouse watches over it all from the heights.
A view of the Lérins Islands and the Mercantour
On a clear day the view reaches the Lérins Islands and the peaks of the Mercantour. That is what makes an end-of-day outing so beautiful, when the light turns golden.
What you can do on board
Once we arrive, we stop to swim, paddleboard or snorkel: the equipment is provided. You can also simply enjoy a drink in the shade of the bimini. The destination is decided together before departure, according to what you would like.
